Christopher Nelson holds a B.A. in political science and history from UCLA and an M.A. in modern European history from The Catholic University of America. He was a PhD Fellow in the F. A. Hayek Program for Advanced Study in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics at the Mercatus Center, at George Mason University. He interned at the Cato Institute in 2002 and spent six years at the Institute for Humane Studies, at George Mason University, as Director of Faculty and Curriculum, and director of our Advanced Topics in Liberty program—a weekend conference series for students and professionals co-sponsored by Liberty Fund, Inc.
