Jason Brennan elaborates on his thesis that "you possess the same right of self defense against government agents as you do against fellow civilians".

Everyone has their own moral judgements and in many cases they can be and are misapplied. Jason Brennan explains how his new book _When All Else Fails_ is not a call to resist all governments, but more of an exposure to how we apply our moral judgements unequally.

What is the rule of self defense? Is it okay to act in self-defense against a government agent? If your government is illegitimate, is it virtuous to resist? What is the moral parity thesis? What is the difference between authority and legitimacy?
