Globalization has promoted lasting gains but also elicited criticism. In this essay, Sarah Thomas focuses on two achievements of globalization, peace through trade and global constitutionalism, in addition to examining criticisms of globalization. Though these concerns are legitimate, it is vital to appreciate the good that globalization has created: a world society of trading partners that embodies the best of liberal ideals.
