David Fitzsimmons

David Fitzsimons, Ph.D., is Senior Lecturer at the Rhode Island School of Design’s Department of History, Philosophy, and the Social Sciences. He got his doctorate from the University of Michigan in American History. Fitzsimons received pre-​doctoral fellowships for study at Harvard University and served for several years as a visiting scholar at Brown University. His areas of interest include U.S. foreign relations, political ideology, voter ignorance, and American war-​films.
