Stephen Hicks

Stephen Hicks is Professor of Philosophy and Executive Director of the Center for Ethics and Entrepreneurship at Rockford University. He is the author of Explaining Postmodernism: Skepticism and Socialism from Rousseau to Foucault (2004, expanded edition 2011) and Nietzsche and the Nazis (2010, adapted from his 2006 documentary of the same name), among others. Hicks co-​edited The Art of Reasoning: Readings for Logical Analysis (1994) with Objectivist philosopher David Kelley. He got his PhD at Indiana University in 1991.
